​Minusta 
Tervetuloa maailmaani, jossa mysteerit ja juonittelut heräävät eloon kiehtovien salapoliisitarinoiden kautta. Intohimoisena kirjailijana luon tarinoita, jotka haastavat mielen ja virittävät mielikuvituksen.

Kirjoituksissani perinteiset dekkarielementit yhdistyvät tuoreisiin näkökulmiin, kutsuen lukijat mukaan seikkailuun. Pyrin pitämään sinut otteessani mukaansatempaavalla kerronnalla ja moniulotteisilla hahmoilla.

Olen Tiina Välimäki, 64, entinen helsinkiläinen koulusihteeri, nykyinen eläkeläinen Heinolasta. Olen aiemmin julkaissut Tiina Kallionpää -nimellä kaksi jännäriä, DonnaMaDonna: Murha muotitalossa ja Lady Day: Murha jazzlaulukilpailussa, jonka kylkeen julkaisin myös jazzstankkualbumin. Olen yhdeltä ammatiltani myös jazzlaulaja.
 
Dekkarini tapahtumat sijoittuvat Heinolaan, jonne muutin mieheni kanssa pysyvästi koronan jälkimainingeissa vuonna 2020. Olen rakastunut tähän viehättävään, ihmisen kokoiseen pikkukaupunkiin, sen maisemiin ja miljööseen. 
Ajan kuluessa kirjailijan mielessä alkoi itää ajatus, että Heinola kaupunkina ja tapahtumaympäristönä ansaitsee oman kirjansa, tai vaikka kaksi. Seuraava osa Torikatu 1 tarinasta on jo työn alla. Vaikka kaupunki itselleni merkitsee rauhan ja rakkauden tyyssijaa, oman kuplani ulkopuolella tapahtuu ikäviäkin asioita, joihin olen erilaisilla somekanavilla ja keskusteluryhmissä törmännyt. Tai ihan vaan kulkemalla aistit avoimina toreilla ja kaduilla. Heinolalainen lintukoto näyttää toiset kasvonsa, kun osaa katsoa pintaa syvemmälle. Näistä lähtöasetelmista Torikatu 1 -tarinat saavat inspiraationsa. Näennäisesti verkkaisen elämänmenon varjoihin kätkeytyy salaisuuksia, joita kirjani senioriladyt ratkovat mieluummin kuin ristikoita.
